Building Community at Cahill and Beyond

We at Cahill believe we are connected not only to our clients and business partners, but also to our greater community. We dedicate time each year to build community amongst our own, and with charitable partners whose missions align with our values. Last month, we hosted such an event at the American Swedish Institute, where our guests joined us for an exclusive evening at the historic Minneapolis landmark and museum. The garden courtyard and surrounding manor and modern museum wing gave us a fun setting to kick off summer with some of our Cahill friends and family with food, drinks, a little interesting local history, and some conversation-sparking art. 

We feel we have a great opportunity to make a lasting impact by investing our resources and time with charitable organizations that are meaningful to our Cahill family, and to our clients. With these tenets in mind, over five years ago we started our Community Investment Program. In these past five years, we’ve supported organizations like Fraser and Second Harvest Heartland, and hosted fundraising events, like our recent evening at The American Swedish Institute. 

We shared our Summer Kick Off at the Castle event with a charitable partner we have worked with as part of our Cahill Financial Advisors Community Investment Program: The Jeremiah Program. Active in six cities across the state, and the country, The Jeremiah Program works to stop the cycle of poverty and dependence on public assistance, two generations at a time. The Jeremiah model draws on five core pillars: career-track education for mothers, quality early childhood education, safe and affordable housing for families, life-skills training, and a supportive community. We are happy to share that in addition to spreading the word about this organization’s impressive mission, hearing wonderful success stories from families served at the Jeremiah Program, we also raised almost $10,000 to support their programs! Our Community Investment Program was thrilled with the generous support from our guests and looks forward to another great year of strengthening communities.
